SHREVEPORT, La. – City of Shreveport Swim Team (COSST) will host a strokes class from 8:30-9:30 a.m., July 20-22 each day for swimmers interested in joining the City of Shreveport Swim Team. The classes will be held at Southside Swim Club located at 2815 Mackey Lane, Shreveport. COSST coaches and varsity level swimmers will be instructing. Cost is $25.00 per swimmer.
COSST will also host a parent’s meeting at 4 p.m., August 31 for those interested in becoming a member of COSST. City of Shreveport Swim Team will begin its 2010/11 season September 7. Tryouts will be held for prospective swimmers from 4-5 p.m., August 31, September 1 – 2. All prospective team members are encouraged to be in attendance for all 3 days.
