Shreveport Public Assembly and Recreation (SPAR) hosts its 14th Annual Ice Cream Social, “I Scream for Ice Cream,” 5 p.m., July 16, at Betty Virginia Park. The event is family-oriented and
open to the general public.
There will be free tethered hot air balloon rides, space walks, games, contests, live music and all the free ice cream one can eat. Watch the SPAR and Robinson Film Center Movies & Moonbeams presentation of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" on the big screen starting at 8:30 p.m.
