SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, LA- Do you have a child that is interested in cooking, baking, and all things culinary? Then you won't want to miss "Some Kids In The Kitchen." This event, presented by Artspace, will be at 6:30 p.m., July 13 and is a program of "Someone's in the Kitchen" Shreveport-Bossier's premiere culinary arts experience.
Enjoying their third year of successful events, “Someone's in the Kitchen” occurs the second Tuesday of each month and features renowned top chefs from Shreveport-Bossier's prestigious
restaurants. At each event they prepare unique meal selections, from the exotic to the classic and traditional, with their own special flair.
For July, “Someone's in the Kitchen” celebrates young culinary artists from Shreveport-Bossier community. Rylon Kennedy, Lelon Kennedy, Lydia Lux, Taylor Talley and Jhenée Deleon join Chef Eleazar Mondragon to create a delectable multi-course menu for all palates.
Guests will dine at the Chef's Table while receiving a full demonstration on preparing a multi-course meal with a wine pairing. There will be a musical performance by Captain Shreve High School
students - Seven Foley and Jonathan Cox - and a theatrical performance by the Academy of Children's Theatre.
Admission is $45 for adults (an additional $20 with wine pairings) and $20 for children. Pre-registration is recommended due to limited seating. Credit card payments are accepted in advance.
