311 TO ROCK AT HORSESHOE CASINO & HOTEL

An event you don’t want to miss! – Thursday, May 7!

(Bossier City, LA) - Horseshoe Casino & Hotel is proud to present multi-platinum rockers 311 live in concert on Thursday, May 7 in the Riverdome! Horseshoe guests will experience their unique mix of rock, reggae, and hip-hop. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. with opening band, Outlaw Nation and 311 to follow.

Tickets are on sale for $50 and the show is standing room only. Purchase tickets at www.riverdome.com, by calling 888-512-SHOW (7469) or at the Horseshoe Gift Horse® Gift Shop. Patrons must be age 18 or older to attend.

Multi-platinum rock band 311 have been hard at work in their own North Hollywood studio, The Hive, with legendary producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith) putting the final touches on their ninth studio album. The highly anticipated record, Uplifter, is set for release via Volcano/Jive Records in late spring.

To date, 311 has sold more than 8.3 million units in the U.S alone, with 5 albums in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart and 7 singles soaring into the Top 10 on Billboard’s Modern Rock Chart (including the #1 singles Down, Love Song and Don’t Tread On Me). The band's celebratory live shows & incessant touring schedule have earned them a massive grassroots following nationwide. Since its inception in 2004, 311’s annual summer headlining amphitheatre run, Unity Tour, has become one of the largest modern rock concerts of the summer. Support acts on the past five Unity Tours have included Snoop Dogg, The Roots, Papa Roach, The Wailers, O.A.R. and Matisyahu.

You may have not intended to do so, but I think you have managed to express the state of mind that a lot of people are in. The sense of wanting to help, but not knowing how or where, is something a lot of us are going through.

I admire what you have done here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the comments that this is working for you as well.

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
Thanks!

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks??

I am not much of a guy who thinks in so deeply about web design but I think your post had some valid points in it. Like designers are forced to design stuff within the limited code available and not go beyond it, their innovation is somewhat limited but still I think Web Design won't die! I agree that Amazon and other some big sites won't have a blog but now a days it's very important to have some sort of option available so people can quickly communicate their thoughts. I think Amazon if wants to shift it to that, they can get a customized CMS for themselves.

I found this blog once, then lost it.  Took me forever to come back and find it.  I thought I missed something here the last time I read half of it so just wanted to come back and finish it.  Nice blog by the way.
