With this post, we welcome aboard Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau Glynn Price. Glynn will be posting regularly and helping the SBCTB communications department promote all of the great things to see and do in Shreveport-Bossier, with an emphasis on sports marketing. Gigi’s Martini Room (420 Commerce Street in Shreveport) is one of the top clubs of north Louisiana. Every Friday night, beginning at 9 p.m., they host a local talent search titled “Gigi’s Got Talent.” This is a very "cool, calm, and collected" event. Some of Shreveport’s best singers, rappers, poets, and spoken word artists come out every Friday and entertain the crowd. These contestants are competing to win at least $3,000. Event admission is $5 for ladies and $10 for men.
If you’re in the area and have no plans Friday night, I recommend that you go to “Gigi’s Got Talent.” Gigi's also features a live jazz/R&B band, “Rhythm Warehouse,” who perform every Friday during the talent search.
