There’s a new place to grab a bite to eat, and I have a feeling you’re going to love it. I know I do!
The newest lunch favorite for downtown Shreveport is Counter Culture located inside Sci-Port: Louisiana’s Science Center. Now, it’s even more convenient to grab a Humphrey, the house specialty yogurt topped with three fresh fruits, granola and honey, in the middle of a busy work day. And for those of us who are desperately trying to hold fast to our New Year’s resolutions to eat better, Counter Culture offers a healthier option. Soups, salads and sandwiches are always prepared fresh at this Shreveport-Bossier icon now available at 17 locations.
General Manager Mike Smith and the staff at Counter Culture understand how hectic the work day can be, and they are ready to cater to downtown Shreveport businesses … literally. For a minimum of four orders, you can have a freshly prepared lunch delivered to your office in a very timely fashion. “The community has really supported us, and we want to be able to offer downtown a healthy and convenient alternative,” said Smith.
If you do have the time to make the short drive or better yet walk to 820 Clyde Fant Parkway there is no admission necessary to eat in the cafe. It’s just like walking into any other restaurant. Sci-Port is closed on Mondays through February, but Counter Culture will be available for delivery on those days.
