Pastor Brady Blade Sr., who will join his sons Brian and Brady, Jr. for a Shreveport performance of their critically-acclaimed production "The Hallelujah Train" at Marjorie Lyons Playhouse.
This Thursday will mark the conclusion of Dream Week at Centenary College of Louisiana, an annual week-long series of programs and events celebrating the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's program comes to a dynamic close with a performance of The Hallelujah Train, a critically-acclaimed live event featuring Pastor Brady Blade Sr., his incredibly accomplished sons Brian Blade and Brady Blade, Jr., and the entire choir from the Zion Baptist Church in Shreveport. Previous performances of The Halleljuah Train have featured guests like Bob Dylan and U2 collaborator Daniel Lanois. The show combines gospel music with rock n' roll, folk music, indie rock, and jazz.
The Hallelujah Train will be performed Thursday, January 20 at 7 p.m. at the Marjorie Lyons Playhouse on the campus of Centenary College.
