This Week: You Could Win a Gift Card to the Louisiana Boardwalk!

Tuesday, 28 April, 2009 11:27 by Pat Gill

Are you shopping for the best trends for summer? I’d like to help by offering up a chance for YOU to win a $25 gift card to the Louisiana Boardwalk.

How to enter to win?

It’s simple: view the new video podcast featuring Ashley Roe, marketing manager at the Louisiana Boardwalk, and post a comment sharing what you love about the shopping center, the best place to dine or another great experience.

On Friday, May 1, we’ll randomly select a winner from those posted comments and announce our winner. And there may just be something in store for other entrants (hint, hint).

The deadline for entries is 11:59 p.m. CST, April 30, 2009. Rules and regulations (removed) apply and can be found here (removed).

We can’t wait to hear from you!

I can't get the video podcast to play, but I will tell you what I enjoy about the Boardwalk. I appreciate that it is geared toward families and that the management has gone a long way to keep it a safe environment. I will often go out of my way to shop at the Boardwalk rather than battle traffic on Airline or in S. Shreveport or fight the crowds at the malls.

There are many things my family and I enjoy about the Louisiana Boardwalk.  One of the most obvious things is the variety of experiences offered by the Boardwalk.  We live in DeKalb, Texas with Texarkana being the closest place for us to go for shopping, eats and entertainment.  While we love Texarkana, the Boardwalk itself offers a much wider variety of things to do than the entire city of Texarkana.  The Boardwalk has restaurants to please a wide variety of appetites, shopping for all ages and genders, and entertainment for all ages with Bass Pro Shop, Regal Theaters and The Funny Bone.  The Boardwalk is a beautiful facility and the fact that it is so family oriented only adds to the great experience we have every time we visit.

My family and I are coming to Louisiana Boardwalk this Saturday, and we are looking very forward to another wonderful experience.

My family and I love the Louisiana Boardwalk for its diversity.  My husband can buy fishing/hunting supplies while I shop and our daughter meets friends for a movie at Regal.  The variety of shops make it attractive to young and mature customers and Build A Bear is a MUST regardless of age!  I love the fact it is on the Red River.  Eating dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings while overlooking the Red is great.  The addition of the hotel will be nice and should help attract more wonderful businesses to the area.  I can't wait!!!
