The bash will feature 80’s tribute band, the Spazmatics, party favors, drink specials and the area’s largest fireworks display at midnight. ·         Minuteman Coaches Luncheon will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 26 at the Shreveport Convention Center, 400 Caddo Street, Shreveport. Admission is $30.·         The Fellowship of Christian Athletes Breakfast will be held 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 27 at Bossier Civic Center, 620 Benton Road, Bossier City. Admission is $5. ·         Also on Sunday, Dec. 27 the Pep Rally and Battle of the Bands will definitely allow the Aggies and the Bulldogs to show fans what they’re made of as they encourage crowd participation and team spirit. Family Fun will kick things off at 4 p.m. followed by the Battle of the Bands at 6 p.m., at CenturyTel Center, 2000 CenturyTel Center Dr., Bossier City. It is free to the public.·         The post game concert will be held Monday, Dec. 28, at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum, 3701 Hudson Avenue, Shreveport. THE ULTIMATE ELVIS TRIBUTE ARTISTS TOUR

Shreveport-Bossier, La. –  In celebration of the King of Rock 'n' Roll’s 75th birthday in 2010, On Stage Touring, LLC, in association with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc., announced the launch of the first-ever Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Tour.  The 26-city nationwide tour will visit Shreveport on January 22 at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, and tickets for the performance are on sale now.     
 
The Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artists Tour is a multi-media extravaganza that pays homage to Elvis Presley during various stages of his career.  The performers are tribute artists who were previously selected as finalists at worldwide preliminary competitions for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition, held annually by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc.  The performers portray Elvis in one of four eras: the 1950s, 1960s, during his movie career and his concert years.

The Elvis tribute artists will be joined by a live band, back-up singers, dancers, and an Ann-Margret tribute artist, as well as iconic imagery made available from the Graceland archives. 

Tickets for the Shreveport engagement on January 22 start at $25 (plus applicable convenience and service charges).  They are available at all Ticket Master locations, via phone 1-800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.  The performance will be held at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium, at 8:00 p.m.
