The Multicultural Center of the South will host the national touring exhibition "Gandhi, King, Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace" (GKI).

This exhibition delivers a striking message about the difference that one person can make in promoting human rights and peace through non-violent action.

Depicted in the display are the lives of Mohandas K. Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Daisaku Ikeda, three individuals from different cultures, continents and religious traditions whose dedication to the equality and inherent dignity of all humanity has changed the course of history around the world.

Refreshments to follow the Opening Ceremony. The Opening Ceremony, Saturday, September 26, 1pm to 2pm, is free & open to the public.

Artspace at the West Edge in downtown Shreveport is the citys first arts center dedicated to the creation, production, presentation, promotion and exploration of all of the art disciplines and forms for multigenerational audiences. Artspace features art exhibitions, poetry readings, music concerts, a culinary as an art form series and anything else that can be imagined.
